Week 2 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (2-0) - although they haven't looked dominant through the first two games or showed up up with their full squad, they did earn W's in both. Their offense seems to be solid, but their defense is giving up more points than they're accustomed to. Until they are beaten on the field they are STILL the top team in CT.
2. Steelers (1-0) - after a week 1 bye, the Steelers made the trip down south and squeaked out the W in week 2. The deepest d-line in flag and the "greatest show on turf" aka Rocket allow this team to win anywhere. Although it wasn't as dominant a performance as some expected they found a way to win and that is ALL that matters.
3. Trojans (2-0) - looked solid through two games against two very strong opponents. A few changes on both sides of the ball, but look to be adjusting just fine. The offense looks to be getting comfortable and the defense is playing at a high level. They could easily be atop this list but have to settle in at 3 for now.
4. Knights (0-1) - came out a little rusty, and a little light, after a week 1 bye and ended up taking an L in week 2. This is not a team that is accustomed to starting out slow, but they are battle tested and talented and should rebound rather quickly.
5. Bears (0-2) - had the toughest start to the season out of any team resulting in their 0-2 start. However, both games were 1 score affairs and the Bears still haven't had their starting QB show. They may not be the most talented group but they seem to play well together and will no doubt turn it around.
6. Broncos (1-1) - after numerous seasons of relative obscurity, the Broncos look to make a push at the PRO playoffs this season. They appear to have improved on both sides of the ball and seem to have gained alot of confidence. However an L is still an L and they'll need to limit them in order to qualify.
7. Blue Devils (1-1) - a "new" team in 9-man with a few "old" faces. They have looked solid in two games so far and showed they are able to at least play with the top teams. Their offense has the ability to score points but their defense gives up just as many.
8. Generals (1-1) - another "new" team with "old" faces have not really been tested but should have the experience to give themselves opportunities to win. Another teams that can score points but gives up just as many.
9. Bombers (1-1) - new to this level of competition they opened with an L, but were able to get the W in week 2. Their offense needs to continue to score and their defense needs to play better cause they're gonna need a couple big wins to make the PRO playoffs.
10. Chargers (0-2) - what happened? Possibly the easiest opening schedule in the league and they walk away with 2 L's. Offense looks bad and defense looks worse. There is just too much talent and experience around this team to remain at 10, but they'll have to win games to move up and qualify for PRO playoffs.

These are power rankings not current rankings. This is just for entertainment it is not official.

Week 3 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (3-0) - still haven't shown up with their full squad but did dominant a very tough opponent in week 3. Their offense continues to score points and their defense played much better. STILL the top team until proven differently on the field.

2. Trojans (3-0) - probably the most consistent team through the first 3 weeks. Their offense moves the ball very well and their defense has not given up much in terms of yardage or points. Could be on top but you gotta beat the best to become the best.

3. Steelers (1-1) - two very shakey performances to start the season. They squeaked out a win in week 2 but weren't so lucky in week 3. Their defense is playing o.k for the most part but with or without Rocket they are struggling to score points.

4. Knights (1-1) - looked rustier and lighter in week 3 than they did in week 2. Their offense is struggling and their defense is paying for it. Although it wasn't a strong performance they managed to get the win and that is ALL that matters.

5. Bears (1-2) - after a very tough start to the season they seem to be settling in. They seem to have a good mix of solid offense and solid defense. Not spectacular but effective. They play as a team and that should get them enough wins to qualify for the PRO playoffs.

6. Broncos (2-1) - a very good start to the season with two solid wins and a tough faught loss. Their offense has the ability to put up points in flurries and their defense is fast and physical. Could be higher but need some big wins first.

7. Blue Devils (1-2) - a solid start to the season with a tight week 1 loss and a week 2 win. Their offense moves the ball pretty well and has the ability to score points but their defense is poor. They just seem to be overmatched versus the top teams.

8. Generals (1-2) - after an opening week win they seem to be going backwards. Their defense has not stopped anyone and their offense was completely shut down this week. Will need a few big wins and some help to qualify for the PRO playoffs.

9. Bombers (1-2) - after a strong week 2 performance they came out flat in week 3. An opening schedule that coulda resulted in 3 wins has only produced 1. They now have a VERY difficult road to qualify for PRO playoffs.

10. Chargers (0-3) - after two very poor performances to start the season they finally came to play in week 3. They put up a solid effort versus a veteran team but came up short. A loss is a loss and they are now adding up.

Week 4 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (3-0) - had a bye week so nothing changes here. Still at the top.

2. Trojans (4-0) - another strong performance and another W. Their offense moves the ball well but can stutter at times, however their defense is playing at a very high level and just doesn't give up much. They will make the PRO playoffs but have a few more difficult games yet to go.

3. Bears (2-2) - look to be back on track after following up their back-to-back losses with back-to-back wins. Their offense is hitting its stride but the defense is not playing as well as expected. Should make the PRO playoffs but need to avoid any potential upsets down the stretch.

4. Steelers (2-2) - another sub par performance from the perrenial championship contender. After getting rolled over by the winless Chargers in their first game they recovered and pulled out a BIG win vs another perennial contender in their second game of the day. Without Rocket at the helm this team looks very beatable.

5. Knights (2-2) - they came out very light in week 4 and faced a double header. Their offense seems to move the ball enough to pull out wins but their defense has too many break downs. They are winning the games they should win but are losing the games they NEED to win. Their experience and leadership will keep this team competetive every week regardless.

6. Broncos (2-2) - another matchup versus a "top" team and another loss. Their offense was completely shut down but their defense played tough, holding a very good opposing offense to only two scores. They SHOULD be able to hold onto a PRO playoff spot but cannot afford to lose any of their winnable games the rest of the way.

7. Blue Devils (1-3) - a very tough start for a "new" team facing three very difficult opponents, but they seem to have weathered it and now get a little breathing room and the possibility for some much needed wins. The next few weeks will determine if this team can slide into a PRO playoff spot or not.

8. Generals (1-2) - also had a bye week so nothing changes here either. Unless they pull off some BIG upsets down the stretch they look to finish outside of the PRO playoff picture.

9. Bombers (1-3) - they look shell shocked by the level of competition. Their offense moves the ball well and scores enough points to win games but their defense cannot seem to stop anyone. They have the TOUGHEST remaining schedule and it does not look like they will get the wins they need to qualify for the PRO playoffs.

10. Chargers (1-3) - after nearly pulling off an upset in week 3 they looked determined to win in week 4 and dominated a very tough opponent. They avoid the 0-4 start but have a very tough remaining schedule and can only afford one more loss to qualify for the PRO playoffs. It will be difficult but this team may just have the experience to pull it off.

Week 5 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (4-0) - they still have not fielded their full squad this season but they have not lost yet either. They are the most fundamental team in the state and they play that way. They play with whoever shows up and they get it done time and time again. Their offense moves the ball well and puts up ALOT of points and their defense just shuts down opposing offenses. They are looking to lock up a top seed in the PRO playoffs and a first round bye.

2. Trojans (4-0) - had a bye so nothing changes here.

3. Bears (3-2) - after 3 straight wins they now have a winning record. Their offense seems to be hitting its stride and controls the ball well but their defensive secondary is playing poorly and are giving up too many points right now. They should get the wins needed to lock up a PRO playoff spot.

4. Steelers (3-2) - they look like a shell of their old selves so far this season. They have the leadership and experience to win games regardless who shows up however they are not dominating their opponents on defense the way they are accustomed to. They should get the wins they need to qualify for the PRO playoffs and compete for a first round bye.

5. Knights (3-2) - they have not looked like themselves so far this season but might have gained back a little of their "swagger" after their week 5 beatdown. Their offense is scoring enough points to win the games they need to win but their defense seems to have too many breakdowns. They should earn a PRO playoff spot but will have to play better all around to make a run at the CHIP.

6. Broncos (3-2) - they seem to have rebounded nicely after their loss with a solid performance in week 5. Their offense is a little unorthodox but scores points and their defense plays hungry. They have a difficult upcoming schedule but should be able hold onto their PRO playoff spot. They will be a tough first round matchup for any team.

7. Blue Devils (1-4) - they may have let their chance at a PRO playoff spot slip away with their week 5 loss. Their defense gives up too many points and it looks as if their offense is beginning to wear out. They have the talent to compete against the "top" teams but lack the leadership to put it together.

8. Chargers (1-4) - their record doesn't reflect their play on the field the last few weeks. They have the leadership to compete and look primed to deliver an upset or two down the stretch. They still have a slight chance at slipping into the PRO playoffs but need wins and some help to get there.

9. Bombers (1-4) - they just seem to be overmatched against the "top" teams. They have playmakers just not enough of them. Their offense moves the ball well and has been able to score in every game this sesaon they just give up more points on defense. They have a tough schedule to finish the season and don't look like they will get the wins to qualify for PRO playoffs.

10. Generals (1-4) - they were handed the toughest double header any team can ask for in week 5 and the outcome reflected that with two blowouts. Their defense is unable to stop ANYONE and their offense cannot move the ball except for a few broken plays. It does not seem like they will qualify for the PRO playoffs but need a couple wins down the stretch to stay out of last.

Week 6 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (5-0) - the most fundamental team in the state pulls out another win versus a very tough opponent to remain undefeated. This team has a level of confidence that borders on arrogance. Their offense, with Roberts at the helm, is clutch and always seems to get a score when they need it most. Their defense has been exposed at times this season but alwyas seem to keep them in it until the end. Best of all they play special teams. Barring a disaster they WILL lock up the top seed and be the team to beat going into the playoffs.

2. Trojans (4-1) - a tough week for a team that looked poised to make a run at the CHIP this season. They looked very light in week 6 and paid the price by taking their first loss of the season. Their offense was still able to move the ball and produce points but their defense seemed to take the week off and gave up way too many points against a struggling offense. They still have the inside track to a top seed and first round bye but it just got ALOT more difficult.

3. Steelers (4-2) - they did what they should do in week 6 and dominated an inferior opponent. Their offense moved the ball well and produced points while their defense had a solid performance allowing only a single score. They look to have locked up a PRO playoff seed with the opportunity for a first round bye and they still have not performed close to the level of play they are capable of.

4. Knights (3-3) - they came out and put up a solid performance versus a very tough opponent in week 6. Their offense looks to be regaining some of its old form and is moving the ball well as of late. However, the defense is still having too many breakdowns in key situations and is costing their team some much needed wins. They are currently at .500 but have the opportunity to run the table and lock up a PRO playoff seed or a possible bye with some help.

5. Broncos (4-2) - back to back wins for the first time this season and a strong performance versus a solid team. They are becoming a legitemate threat to make a run at the final four. Their offense finds ways to score points and their defense "flies around on that turf". Nothing really stands out about this team but they are real confident and they play real hard, and that WILL give them a chance in any game.

6. Bears (3-3) - after three consecutive wins they came out flat in week 6 and looked to be outworked. Their offense is effective but has limited playmakers and struggles to make big plays versus solid defenses. Their defense has not played up to their potential and does not have the offense to bail them out when they get behind. They should be able to hold on to that final PRO playoff spot but have made it a little more interesting.

7. Chargers (2-4) - they look to be playing solid football the last few weeks and earned themselves another win versus a very tough opponent. Their offense has glimpses of potential but seems to make too many critical mistakes and their defense is not playing very well so far. They still have enough veterans that they can steal a couple wins but unless they get some help it doesn't look like they will slip into the PRO playoffs.

8. Bombers (2-4) - they had a solid performance in week 6 and effectively kept themselves from finishing in last place. They have playmakers to give them opportunities to win games but are lacking the depth to really challenge the top teams week in and week out. They will most likely miss the PRO playoffs but have the potential to still get a win or two the rest of the way.

9. Blue Devils (1-5) - they came out in week 6 and lost another winnable game and with it any realistic chance at making the PRO playoffs. Their offense has the ability to move the ball but their defense is non existent.

10. Generals (1-5) - another poor performance on both sides of the ball. After a week 1 victory this team has progressively gotten worse. They need to win at least one game down the stretch in order not to finish last.

Week 7 Power Rankings

1. YoungGunz (6-0) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. This team has beaten every opponent put in front of them and they have yet to field their full squad. Their offense, the best in the league, hasn't been affected and seem to put up 40 points every week. Their defense however has given up more points than they're accustomed to. Light or not they know how to win and they ARE the favorites to win the CHIP.

2. Trojans (5-1) - they came off a very tough loss in week 6 and got a big win versus a tough opponent in week 7. They have also made a habbit of showing up light this season but have managed to find ways to get wins. They have the best defense in the league and a multi dimensional offense that can score points. They should be able to lock up a top seed and 1st round bye and be in a good position to make a run at the CHIP.

3. Steelers (4-3) - it sounds like a broken record but this is another top team that has not fielded a full squad yet this season. They still managed to get the wins they need to make the PRO playoffs but have not looked very good doing it. Their offense has looked average this season even with Rocket at the healm and their defense is giving up WAY too many points than they are used to. Their experience and leadership still make them a threat in the playoffs but its gonna be a difficult run.

4. Knights (4-3) - this team appears to be regaining their old form a little more each week and just in time for the playoffs. Their offense has been able to move the ball effectively and score points the last few weeks but their defense continues to struggle. They should lock up a playoff spot and use their two remaining games to work out the kinks in that defense. They still have their leadership intact and they will be sure to have this team ready for their run at the CHIP.

5. Broncos (5-2) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. Probably the most consistent team this season as far as feilding a full team and it shows. This team is hungry to make a name for themselves and they show up and play that way. They play confident and physical every week regardless who their opponent is and that can make the difference in a tight game. They have two very difficult games remaining against playoff qualifying teams which could help prepare them for their run at the finals.

6. Bears (3-4) - this team went from a potential CHIP contender to fighting to hold on to their PRO playoff spot. This team's success was fueled by unity and structure and that seems to be deteriorating a little each week. Their offense does enough to hold onto the ball and score points but their defense gives up more. They need to finish strong and lock up their PRO playoff spot and then it's a new season, the post-season.

7. Chargers (3-4) - this team has probably had the biggest turn around from week 1 than any team in the league but it may be too little too late. Their offense has had some success the last few weeks and their defense has been doing enough to give them opportunities to win games. They are on the outside looking in at the PRO playoffs but are not eliminated just yet. They still have a chance and that is all you can ask for with the start they had.

8. Bombers (2-5) - with two weeks left in the regular season this team is not yet eliminated from the PRO playoffs. They will need to beat two top opponents and get alot of help but it is possible. In spite of their record their offense moves the ball very well and scores enough points to win games but their defense is non-existent. They would need to play dramatically better on defense to have ANY chance at making a run at the finals if they did slip in.

9. Blue Devils (1-6) - eliminated from PRO playoffs. After having some early season success this team has continued to slip down the rankings. Their offense has become unproductive and their defense took the entire season off. They need to find a way to win one of their remaining games in order not to finish last.

10. Generals (1-6) - eliminated from PRO playoffs. After their week 1 OT win they have been able to produce nothing in terms of wins, offense or defense. They can still prevent themselves from finishing in last place by winning one of their remaining games.

Week 8 Power Rankings

1. Trojans (7-1) - clinched #1 PRO playoff spot. They came out in week 8 and dominated two tough opponents and secured the top seed in the playoffs. Their offense continues to improve and they move the ball very well but don't always capitalize with td's. Their defense is allowing the fewest points and really puts pressure on opposing offenses and forces mistakes. They look to be the favorite to win the CHIP right now but will need to play their best football from this point on.

2. YoungGunz (6-2) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. Their habbit of showing up liiiight has finally caught up with them and it earned them two losses in week 8. Their offense looked very uncomfortable and were unable to move the ball or produce many points. Their defense had their back to the wall but played well and were able to minimize the damage. They are still a favorite to make the final and compete for the CHIP but will need to "show up" in order to do it.

3. Knights (5-3) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. They have improved a little bit each week and now seem to have hit their stride just in time for the playoffs. Their offense is moving the ball well and putting up alot of points the last few weeks and their defense looks like they might have worked out the kinks. They have the leadership and talent to make a run at the CHIP but will need to continue to improve on defense to win 3 in a row.

4. Steelers (5-3) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. They came off their loss in week 7 and got a solid win versus a solid opponent in week 8. Their offense proved they have the ability to score even without Rocket and their defense got back to what they do best, shutting down the opposing offense. They are a team filled with veterans who know how to win but will have to play really good football to get to and win the CHIP.

5. Broncos (6-2) - clinched a PRO playoff spot. They keep doing what they need to do and that is win games. They finally got their signature win over a top team. Their offense is unorthodox and struggles to sustain drives but has the ability to score points. Their defense is what they rely on, they are fast, physical and they fly to the ball. They are in a position to make a run at the finals but will need to play their VERY best football in order to beat 2, possibly 3 top teams in a row.

6. Chargers (4-4) - they are playing their best football the last few weeks and they have now put themselves in a position to slide into the PRO playoffs. Their offense has the ability to move the ball and get points but their defense gives up too many broken plays. They have the leadership and experience to compete in the PRO playoffs but lack the talent or depth to make a run at the CHIP. If they win they are in.

7. Bears (3-5) - this team's strength was their ability to play as a unit and that has progressivley deteriorated throughout the season. Their offense is able to control the ball but lacks the big play potential and therfore cannot afford mistakes. Their defense currently lacks leadership and is struggling to stop anyone the last few weeks. They still have a very good chance at making the PRO playoffs if they win their final game, but it will be VERY difficult to advance if they do.

8. Bombers (2-6) - eliminated from PRO playoffs.

9. Blue Devils (1-7) - eliminated from PRO playoffs.

10. Generals (1-7) - eliminated from PRO playoffs.
