If there is a bigger football game in Dickson County this weekend I'm unaware of it a much anticipated meeting of two undefeated Tri-County Junior-Pro teams will kick-off 6pm Saturday night at Homer Hamdorf Stadium Dickson middle school.
It will be the Dickson Dolphins (6-0), hosting their crosstown rival, Burns Cowboys (6-0) both teams playing for what ultimately will be the top spot in the Tri-County Minor Division.
No matter the weather Saturday evening, this game is sure to be packed with those who have anticipated this gritty matchup since last year’s Super Bowl match-up between the two where the Dolphins took home the prize.
One thing is certain, these coaches and players will be vocal and packed with passion as they take the field Saturday night and if you're a football fan at all, this will be the game to see in Dickson this weekend. Put your umbrella in the car and find your way to the bleachers for this bout of unbeaten teams. In the event you need another reason to come, the Burns Cowboys will be attempting to interrupt the winning streak of a core group on this Dickson Dolphin team that now stands at 37 games stretching over four seasons! Game ON!
