| The shooting in this league BLOWS, not because of talent but because the people that used to be able to shoot just don't play enough basketball anymore to keep sharp....so that is just the truth...teams that are lucky enough to string together a few threes win because it's just hard to score in this league without shooting. If a team hits a three and then gets a steal and hits another 3, it takes the other team about 7 possessions to make up those 6 points.....only TWO people shot over 40% from three last year...TWO, and neither of them are even pure shooters really and definitely not Volume 3 point shooters.......so, with that being said...only 3 teams have any chance to win 3 games in a row in the playoffs going against a ZONE defense, which is going to hold more than half the teams to under 50 points a game......Bob Kocher's team have Bob who can hit a standstill 3, Monty can get it going (not like he used to, but enough to knock down some points) and Trigger and Bill K can make a few also......Maggs team has Dave Williams who can get lights out and he still plays 4 days a week so his shot stays sharp, plus David Craig can hit a bunch, Maggs and Brantley shoot awful percentages but they aren't afraid to take a few and see what happens and may bank one or two in...so they can beat a zone also. and My team will likely lead in 3 point % as I led the league last season and I'm a distant 2nd to my 1st round pick who is the best pure shooter in this league...I'm not blowing smoke, it's just facts, Kenny can shoot his ass off...I said Kenny, not Denny...just to be clear, although Denny did make 33% from 3 last season which would rank him in the top 20% of shooters in this league. Just Sayin......
