Knights of Columbus Council 6201 Welcomes You to the 15th Annual Race for Life, Sunday February 22nd. Doors Open at 11am..A Cancer Benefit in Memory of Brother Chuck Washington.
This year's recipient will be Joey Weikel. Joey is a funny, handsome, and loving 8 year old boy. He is in third grade, loves playing soccer, baseball, surfing, snowboarding and being around friends and family. Joey was diagnosed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on July 4th, 2014 with Leukemia. He has undergone Eight Rounds, of sometimes brutal chemotherapy, but he faced every one of them with a smile and his easy going (I got this) personality. Joey had his last chemotherapy treatment on Friday January 16th and received a Hero’s welcome home from the hospital from his friends, Fire Dept., Mayor, Police Dept., family, teammates, neighbors, and the community which have all been behind him 100% during his journey.
