| Hey fellas. .. Leaving the managers mtg. . Hearing there's a few teams folded, I'm putting the word out that my team, TEAM GQ, is coming back to play this season. I'm looking to add a few players, as we've already been running a lean roster and we lost 3-4 players to work schedules for this season. Just putting it out there. I've had a team in this league for the last 5 years and it's tough seeing teams fold and players leave. We had 16 teams, looks like we're down to 10 or 11. Very discouraging, but also I think we can save this league, if we all take initiative to recruit teams and players to the league. Everyone wants to compete, but it won't be fun to compete w less teams. A couple loaded up teams and a few fun teams isn't going to cut it. ... food for thought.
Anyways. .. The guys who've been in the league and have been competitive players, I'm open to additions. Roster waivers are due next Tuesday, 24th, that means we all need to settle in somewhere. My # 401-648-5124 .

| Tommy, we did briefly discuss your situation again last night. Per the existing by-laws, you would be considered exempt. We are finalizing the by-laws next week so unless the by-law changes, that would be the ruling.

| Also. .. Keep in mind that bcuz our league has dropped to 10 maybe 11 teams this season, we're having a very laid back schedule. . Taking all holiday wknds off, mothers day, fathers day, july4th wknd, firecracker wknd, etc .. So for the guys who are in the fence and 'softballed out', it's a better time than ever to stay , or join a team in our league... remaining a part of the most competitive Sunday morning rec league in the state ...
