| Regular Season- Each of the 9 teams play a 16 game schedule.
Season starts April 6. If 1st week will be mostly a washout, it may be moved in its entirety to end-of-season. No Double-Headers in initial schedule. DHs will be used for makeups. Initial schedule will only include Saturdays prior to Memorial Day weekend. After Memorial Day, Saturdays can be used for makeups. Same Ball as last year
No fence will be installed
Playoffs-We agreed on a 9 team double elimination (no single elimination play-in game) with 1st place getting a buy. However, I couldn't find a bracket that does this. The standard 9 team double elimination bracket (copy attached) doesn't give 1st place a buy. We will go with the attached bracket unless someone can find a bracket that matches what we wanted.
6 feet max arch on pitching. Mario will will speak with other ump(s) about easing up on the illegal pitch calls. For regular season only, sharing a roster spot or playing a partial game is now OK as long as it is announced to opposing manager prior to first pitch. For playoffs, all players must play full game unless injured during game. Season-end beach party will be revived. I have asked for beach availability, shooting for Sept 26 or Sept 19. League Fee $100 in-lake, $150 out-of-lake. Dennis Healy is the pre-season assistant league secretary (initial schedule, registration, equipment orders). Mario Maravi is co-commissioner handling rules, team/player complaints, behavior issues. Dave Stys is co-commissioner handling game rescheduling, field maintenance, and umpire complaints.
