| The league was contacted by the town today and notified that local residents have taken photos of players and/or fans drinking at the fields this past weekend. They also have photos of the trash cans containing an excessive amount of empty beer cans. We are on the verge of losing fields if this continues, we were reminded of this today.
Umpires have now been asked to keep an eye out as well and will be letting us know if they find anyone drinking. Any players caught drinking will be suspended for two games per the bylaws. This will include playoff games.
