I asked Hunt to include this in his post game write-up but in case he forgets what happened I want the league to be aware for future game prep.
The reigning MVP, Reggie, had a chance to win the game in regulation while driving through the lane. Being a 5th rounder I can tell you that I lack all basic ball skill and athleticism to step over and cut Reggie off but instead basically offered him a free and open lay-up. The MVP(?) decided to channel his best Lebron 2007 impression and dish off to the next best role player but was errant with the pass as he threw it directly into my left love-handle. See Jed, being fat does have benefits.
Mercy's entire team prepared for the MVP to hoist the final shot. Hell they even refused to move on the court as the seconds ticked. Seems to be some chemistry issues that should be exploited by other teams.

And on top of that Tolleson gave an example on how to effectively guard Reggie. Let him shoot!!!

I am not fat - I have an eating disorder.

Some people have the DNA to want to take the last shot and have the win or loss pinned solely on their shoulders. Others just want to give it up, so they can blame others if it doesn't go their way.

Luckily, I was born with the DNA to be a winner, clutch performer - and I can't forget, really good looking.

Is RS the guy that shoots 29 times a game and has his teammates bitching about it the rest of the week? You know your open for a reason don't you? Keep shooting and driving a wedge between you and your team. Pot meet kettle

As reigning MVP, I know most people expect me to take the last or game winning shot and trust me anybody that knows me knows I have no problem doing such! I trust my teammates in those situations to hit those shots and had it gotten there I know Cliffy would have hit that shot! now that we got that out the way, NO MERCY is in second place and still learning each others strengths and weaknesses so it will be right by playoffs! AS for RS you talked about two things that were actually funny. To effectively stop me by letting me shoot is a bad idea because I'm only going to take shots that I want to take. Tolleson played pretty good defense on several plays but ultimately I won that battle and the thing you didn't mention is that I had 8 in overtime so i must thank your left love handle for deflecting that pass so i could boost my average. and as I stated before the game if you play man to man I'm going to burn you whether it be going by my man for a score or finding one of my teammates because you have to help. All in all great win for NO MERCY! A win is a WIN no matter how much its by! Jed see you next week! MVP OUT!

Before you drop the microphone Mr. MVP of last year - the one 3 pointer that you shot was so ugly that we weren't sure if it was a pass or a shot. I think it was an air ball that fell short. I'll let you shoot all day outside of 15 feet. At the end of the day, your team won and you were definitely a contributing factor - however we have you figured out Reggie. Let him shoot!

Hey news flash that has been everybody's game plan every season but for some reason doesn't always seem to work out for them. so you keep figuring things out and I'll keep doing what i do and we'll see who comes out on top!

Also the one 3 pointer you were talking about was actually blocked by tolleson, so before you judge someones shot know what caused it. n for someone is not a shooter as yall say I seem to finish with a higher 3 point percentage than some of the so called shooters in the by the end of the season. men lie women lie numbers don't!

You're right, numbers do not lie (cough .143% from 3). At the end of the day, you're someone that teams have to plan against...and you're the main reason your team is having the success they're having.
