| The 12U North Texas Longhorns-Pendleton is looking for one player to complete our roster for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. We are very specific about what we are looking for: a catcher. We currently have two catchers that each happen to be towards the top of our pitching rotation, so when we reach the semi-finals/finals, we're running very thin at the catcher position. 10 of our 11 players from the Fall are returning. It is common for top tier majors teams to have 13 or even 14 players on the roster with some players that pitch only. We prefer to have a maximum of 11 kids on the roster with each player contributing in a minimum of 2 areas (pitching, catching, offensive competitor, infielder or outfielder). In a “tournament baseball world” of drama, emotion, and chaos we are a team of stability, drive, and work ethic.
