| The Holbrook 12's WON the District 18 Championship tonight with another amazing display of power!!
Blasting 5 more HomeRuns, the last one a Grand Slam, Walk-Off HomeRun in the 4th by Jayden Toucher to end the game in dramatic fashion 15-5!!
The Game started off with a Homerun in the top of the 1st from Matt Potok to give Jackson a 1-0 lead. The Holbrook Home Run Derby put up 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st on 2-run HomeRuns by Steven Davis and Gavin Bonitz, to give Holbrook a 4-1 lead they would not relinquish. Holbrook added a run in the 2nd, but in the 3rd, Matt Potok hit his second homer of the night, a 2 run blast to right, followed by a HomeRun from Nick Storaci, making the game 5-4 Holbrook and far from over!!
Holbrook put up 6 runs in their half of the 3rd to pull away 10-4, on Homeruns by Dallas Weisse and a 2 run shot from Jonny Sefick. Holbrook pounded out 17 hits in 3 1/3 innings, finally unleashing their bats for more than just home runs.
Toucher started the game and got the win giving up just 5 hits, including the 3 HomeRuns to a very good hitting Jackson team. Below, he watches his Grand Slam sail into Holbrook history and a memory he will never forget!!
Great Job Boys!! On to the Sectionals on Saturday night in Freehold!!
