Highlights of last nights 10yr old Semi-Final 10-9 WIN over Toms River......

The bats were busy at Sports Care Field on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U had a 10-9 win over Toms River Little League in six innings.
The teams banged out 24 hits hits between them, as well as four for extra bases.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with eight lead changes.
Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U scored on an RBI single by Aidan O off Gabriel O, scoring Jayden B. An RBI single by Aidan scored Jayden to give Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U the lead for good.
Jayden racked up three RBIs on three hits for Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
The top of the second saw Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U take an early lead, 2-0. A double by Jayden, plating Brendan G started the inning off. The scoreboard lit up again for Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U when B scored on an RBI single by Danny E.
Toms River Little League scored two runs of its own in the second. Toms River Little League scored on a groundout by Elio S and an RBI single by Kade K.
Toms River Little League answered Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U's top inning with five runs of its own in the third. Toms River Little League scored on an error, a two-run error, and a two-run double by Kade.
Toms River Little League quickly matched Holbrook Little League All Stars 10U's strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the fourth. Toms River Little League scored on a groundout by Tony D and an RBI single by Jack P.
