| New 7u/8u tournament team forming in the NW Austin area. Currently we have 7 AA/AAA players and need 4 more players to complete our team roster at 11 players. The Diamond Kings will play 2 local tournaments per month and will play a scheduled weekday game throughout the spring season. Coaching will model the same professional instruction as done with our “Big Brother” organization- Sharp End Baseball. We will focus on player development throughout the season by way of advanced fundamental instruction. A few of our season goals will be for players to consistently progress in their skills and for players to learn different positions.
We will NEVER jeopardize a player’s health to be a win-at-all-costs team and we will NOT be a trophy hunting team. Our team will have a great experience this spring. We want to teach our players the process of winning, how to play the game the right way, how to work hard, to respect others and the importance of respecting the game.
-Parents will not pay for coaching or field rentals.
-Parents will be required to pay for their players jerseys/divided cost for tournament fees/one-time "open team" league registration.

| During this winter off-season the 8U Diamond Kings team will attend the Sharp End Baseball winter camp at North Austin Optimist. Last year over 80 kids participated in this camp. One of our core philosophies is the 5 P's- "Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance"
_Camp will begin Dec. 6th (Tuesday)
_Camp is open for ages 8 – 14.
_Camp instruction will be 6 weeks long with the focus of baseball fundamentals & player development.
_Staff has played professional baseball and has coached select baseball for many years.
_ The cost for the camp is only $100 for 12 total practices (18 hours total) which breaks down to $6 an hour for the camp.

| 8U Diamond Kings- currently need 4-5 players (ages 7-8) to complete our team roster. We are seeking committed Parents & Players for 2017 spring season. Season will consist of 8-10 local select tournaments and weekday scheduled games.
-8U Diamond Kings team will not have paid coaches or pay cost for field rentals.
-8U Diamond Kings parents will pay for their player’s jerseys and will divide cost for all tournament fees.
-8U Diamond Kings parents will pay a one-time "open team" league registration.

PLEASE NOTE tryouts will be conducted the same day with our “Big Brother” organization Sharp End Baseball. If you have other players or know of others who may be interested please feel free to come out and invite. Tryouts are free and open to public.
