| I recently received word from Edmonds Recreation Coordinator, Todd Cort, that he would not be running a senior softball league due to the closure of Meadowdale Fields from May of 2017 thru spring of 2018. They are putting turf on the soccer fields and the infields of the softball fields. This will obviously effect all teams playing in Lynnwood or Edmonds leagues. As a former 20+ year manager of a co-rec team in Lynnwood I know the challenges of maintaining a team. I question the wisdom of entirely closing the facility for a year. Anyone with questions or concerns about this plan should ask Lynnwood Recreation Supervisor Brian Hendricks what his plan is for 2017
