| So over the course of the season it has become very obvious that there are shaved bats in our leagues. Why , hmm, cause chicks dig the long ball.
Understand that yes our league does not test bats but for those of you that have them please be aware if you hit a pitcher by the rules and regulations, the umpire is allowed to take the bat and ball and turn them into for testing. If your bat or ball is altered in any way you can and most likey be banned form that association ( ours is ASA) with other associations being notified.
There is no reason to swing a shaved bat in our leagues. If you cant hit a ball 270 feet, fix your swing or just hit base hits. League is full of people who just wanna have fun, not worry about your bat.
And finally our director and others are very aware of this now.
