| Holbrook's MIT Team took second place in the 2017 Manchester Tournament after a 9 inning loss on Saturday.
Our boys fought hard all game and came back from a 2 run deficit to force extra innings on a 2 - Run BOMB by Vito Gallina. Holbrook lost the game in the 9th but showed amazing heart and soul in this tournament and especially in the Championship round where they lost 2 heartbreaking games.
The team made us proud and they don't need first place trophies ( or bats) to prove to us that they are CHAMPIONS!!
Thanks to the parents and fans who supported the team over the hot two weeks of the tournament.
Many thanks to coaches Tony, Vito, Charlie and Pete for their time and efforts getting the boys ready over the past month to prepare for the tournament !
And of course, thank you to the boys for the great ride!!
