| Week 2 is coming. Calling this BLOWOUT WEEK.
Recapping what I said online. Two of these 5 teams must make playoffs and it’s sad. Abusement Park/ Insayains / Kings Men / Toon Squad / Quiet Storm They all stink and could save everyone the trouble by having them sit out this session. But since they are playing I must write about them.
First Game to start the blow outs.
Dolphins VS InSayains
InSayains showed up and got their asses kicked. Alex Anderson and Junior and the short white kid showed up just to almost get the mercy rule. Alex Anderson has been a shell of himself for sessions now and this team does not have a QB. Even the guy who thinks they can QB on this team still can’t QB. Dolphins don’t have a high-powered offense but might have the best offensive talent in the league. Will still put up a lot of points against a sorry InSayains defense. InSayains competing to be the worst team in the league this fall. Dolphins defense is lights out. Their DL puts the pressure on the QBs and their DBs fly around to the ball. Dolphins defense of line had 11 sacks last week and expect the pressure to be coming again this week. Led by Larry Burns that DL is going to cause problems for a lot of teams. While Jose Arriaga is making, his name felt on the defensive side of the ball. Jose and Any Rivera both had 1 INT last week and should see many more this week. Someone said they Dolphins have the best DB core in the league. Well if that’s true this week they will have a week off. No QB for the InSayains and no real Wide receiver for them either. Shaq Jessop was the big play WR they needed last week to get their only TD. But won’t be enough for a Dolphins team who is looking to turn the Enfield League upside down. Dolphins Win 37-6 InSayains. First start of the long boring day.
Abusement Park VS Toon Squad
Both teams had bye weeks last week and this game will be short and sweet. Abusement Park will mercy Toon Squad in the first half. 42-0. Toon Squad is a new team and on their roster, online they barely have enough guys. Also, guys no one ever heard of. They came into a man’s league with a bunch of boys. Abusement Park is led by Ian Learned and Dougie Nelson Jr who busted onto the scene last Tolland. Ian has found his go to WR and will be making plays all session long. Expect Dougie to have a great game and welcome Toon Squad to the league.
Anarchy VS Abusement Park
This game can be closer than expected. Rumor has it the old Monstars and Abusement Park players Ryan Deloureiro, David Flint, Tim Artruc and Josh Johnson will not be playing against their old team because they don’t want to ruin the Monstars team for next spring. Rumor has it David Flint is looking to leave Anarchy as soon as possible after the altercation with him and Kevin Rooney last weekend. Anarchy shorthanded still should be able to pull this one off. Abusement Park player to watch will be Justin Kadow. Justin is a force on the DL and is Monstars, Excuse me Abusement Parks best player. Ian must play his best game to keep this one in striking distance. Anarchy led by that high-powered offense will be able to score and this could get out of hand if Abusement Park can’t stop them. Anarchy defense will have some trouble because of the speed of Ian Learned. But new comer Anthony Kaponis looked like he was ready to play last week. Going against a better offensive line this week and Anarchy could see some trouble. This game will come down to who can stop who from scoring. Tim Artruc had an easier week last week and the game that mattered against Falcons he struggled. One team even calling him a Liability. Abusement Park will take advantage of those players missing and keep this game close. Anarchy still has a better QB and better playmakers at WR. Should end this game for Abusement Park. Anarchy 36-20 Abusement Park
Quiet Storm VS Sandman’s Auto
Theme of the day. When you don’t have a QB you will struggle. Quiet Storm does not have a QB and they will struggle. They got mercy rule last week and expect the same thing this week. Sandman’s Defense will play much better and Steve Niggebrugge has been playing well. Steve is one of the better WRs in the league and needs some help. Matt Webber was supposed to be that but after a lack luster performance last weekend. He needs to do better. Josh Tyler will have a field day on defense against QS. While QS is just looking for some offense. Defense wise they play to soft and don’t put enough pressure on QBs. Leaving those DBS out to hang. Kyle Logan is the lone star on this team and can only do so much. He’s your best WR and DB might as well try and find ways to get him the ball. Sandman’s Auto is just a more complete team. QS did well on the OL and might be one of their strong points for the session. But Sandman’s has a QB and even their Back up QB is better than QS starting QB. Steve N should tear up this DB core and will be a walk in the park. Over or under 150 yards total offense for QS? Sandman’s Auto 49-6 Quiet Storm Mercy rule 2 weeks in a row.
Falcons VS The Kings Men
Finally, the best game of the day. Kings Men is the best of the worst and Falcons are the worst of the best. Any given Sunday. Both teams have Qbs one playing better than the other but that is why football is the ultimate team sport. Seth Rozman isn’t even a top 6 QB in Enfield and if he can just do his job and put up 2-3 TDS. That Defense will pull off the win. Vinny Russo is a top DB in this league and Issiah Santiago pulled off an INT in the beginning of the Dolphins game to help give a spark. The Kings Men DL has been sub-par and well somewhat of a joke. Falcons almost pulled off the win last week and look to improve every week with the more times they play. Pat Jubry is a great player with little talent around him. Those WRs on Falcons haven’t played well so far and need to step up. Dion Peterson was a great add and will be the go to player again this week. Pat needs to find ways to get him the ball all throughout this game. Kings Men have a lot of play makers on defense who will be great throughout the session. Pat must find a way to score. That offensive Line for Falcons did a good job last week not allowing a lot of sacks and now Dan Carraquillo faces his former team. While Joey Lodge looks to have a better game than last week against a weaker defense. Falcons DL will cause some trouble but what will determine the outcome will be how many points can the Kings Men score. Kings Men score 19 they win. Score under 19 they lose. Falcons 18-13 The Kings Men.
