| Mid season updated championship odds.
I talked to my bookie last night and here are his updated odds for the season. I might find a new bookie.
NO Mercy- 3/1 to win it all. Very well rounded squad, just like he thought at the start of the season. 5 guys that score 15 a night. Their only undoing will be when they have a close game, who will take the big shot as all 5 of the players that can score 15 think they should be the man. Will be must watch TV when NO mercy plays FWP
FWP – 4/1, Speaking of FWP, another very rounded squad. Steal of the 4th round pick, Chris Jackson, is getting comfortable playing with these guys. Rookie captain, Vince, has everyone playing at a high level. Can they continue to play well throughout the season and then keep it going when the playoffs get here. As of right now, No mercy seems to be their only competition but it only takes one bad game in the playoffs and then you are seen fishing at the closest pond
Chumps- 12/1-Did anyone see O’Rourke dominate BVM’s squad last night. Seeing how ORourke was almost on IR 2 weeks ago with a “broken” thumb, it was amazing how well he played last night. He finally looked like the first round pick that we thought he was. The main question is, as usual, how will Hunt screw this up so that he can be 0-12 in his own league. Just remember last year, early exit out of the playoffs, AGAIN.
Godfathers 20/1- How can you put an undefeated team as the 4th best team? And really, how can you put them above the one win Chumps? My bookie says to look at who they have played. He knows they beat the Chumps but that was before the trade. Tom has a good team but what will he do against No mercy this week? Does he have anyone that guard Eric AND Cliff. We shall see but the jury is still out on this team.
BVM 25/1- This team just hasn’t gelled yet. As I reminded my bookie, lasts year edition went into the playoffs and knocked off 3 teams to win it all. Will they gel is the main question for this team. Their shooting percentage will get better as the season progresses and I told my bookie that we would be fine once the playoffs get here but he wasn’t buying it. Jed did put $100 on BVM to win it all for some reason. Is he planning on throwing a game in the playoffs just to win the money?
Air Raid 30/1. First round pick, Kenneth, is getting into basketball shape and the rest of the league better watch out. After putting up 40 points last week, he is on a tear. Their team scored 87 last week which will win you 99% of your games in the BBL. Unfortunately, FWP scored 90. Offense doesn’t seem to be the problem for this team, giving up too many points may be the problem. Will they get their first win this week against KMR
KMR 40/1- KMR doesn’t have a bad squad but someone has to be at the bottom of the poll. They broke their LONG losing streak last week that had stretched to 11 games over 2 seasons. Can they keep the momentum going for the rest of the year. Reggie looked good last week in his debut against his former team. Will that continue? How long will it be before Brantley and Reggie butt heads during a game, warm ups or after the game.
The bookie said he will not update the odds till playoff time after this.
