| The NYBC Tournament will follow Major League Baseball American League rules along with some adjustments, such as an EH. Full game rules will be listed on July 1st, 2019.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Each player on a Area Team's approved Provisional Roster must be eligible to participate for that Territories Team. A player will be so eligible only if the player meets one of the following:
- The player is a current resident of the Area Team's territory, as evidenced by a valid ID/License the player currently holds. - The player was born in the Area Team's territory, as evidenced by a birth certificate or its equivalent. - The player has attending High School in the Area Team’s territory, as evidenced by a valid High School ID.
ROSTERS: On or before August 1, 2019, each Territory Team shall submit a proposed Final Roster of no more than 28 players, each of whom must have been on that Territory Team's Available Player List, plus one manager and up to four coaches.
DISPUTES/ ZERO TOLERANCE: - All disputes between and among players and Territory Teams shall be referred to NYBC Board for decision. NYBC’s decisions shall be accepted by all parties as final. - There is a ZERO TOLERANCE rule for any sort of fighting during all NYBC events, including but not limited to NYBC Games, Practices, Meeting & more. Players and Coaches engaged in any physical confrontations will be indefinitely banned from the NYBC Tournament and all its future events. This tournament is meant to celebrate Baseball in New York and we are all here to be examples of good sportsmanship and what this sport means to our State.
PROTESTS: Any Area Team wanting to protest the eligibility of another Area Team's player must do so by submitting its protest and the specific basis thereof, in writing, to NYBC by no later than three (5) days after having been notified of the Area Teams' final rosters. NYCB will render a decision as soon as practicable.
