| Jets (3-4-2) vs Oilers (1-0) Jets lead season series 1-0
Well I wasn’t there Friday night so not much to report back on other than the scorers so it will be brief. Ross scored the lone Jets goal assisted by MacIsaac. No Blazers games so Perry should be good. The undermanned Oilers lost in a shoot out to the Ratpack. Bent and Skinner scored in regulation, Corky sniped in the shoot out. Redden had the Oilers lone assist. Veinot is a GTD. Giles is out 1 more week.
Oilers 3 – Jets 2
Ratpack (3-5-1) vs Lions (5-4) Lions lead season series 1-0
Glazebrook and States scored for the Rats in regulation, MacQueen and Hill in the shoot out. Munden and Parsons each had an assist. The Prodigy is usually in the Rocket Richard race, not so far this year. Is the Ratpack the place legends go to die? Burgess as always leads the Lions, 2 helpers this week. Flemming, Ingraham and Ritcey all score 1, Hartnett gets the lone assist. Did no one make a pass Friday night, seems very few assists were given out?
Lions 4 – Ratatouille 3
Flames (6-3) vs Stars (6-3) Flames lead season series 1-0
Bray led the Flames with 2 goals and an assist. Fougere had 1 and 1, single apples to Baxter, AI Curl and J. LeBlanc. Havey finally reminds us of Havey with 3 goals and 2 assists. Not to be out done captain Ryan had a five point night with 1 and 4. Iceton makes the rookie scoring race a three way tie with 1 and 2. TONY CLARK SCORES. MacDonald scores 1 and apples go to Gilbert and Holt. Huge game here for the leagues top spot after 2 rounds. Last time they played I took the Sytars and I lost. Still like the Stars but gotta go with Vegas.
Flames 5 – Stars 4
10 Minute Misconduct Race:
1 – Veinot, Murphy, Messervey, Zwicker
Shootout Scoring Race:
1 – Messervey, Manson, Flinn, Ryan, Gilbert, Corkill, MacQueen, Hill
Rookie Scoring Race:
12 – Manson, Gilbert, Iceton 5 – Newcombe 1 – Daly, O’Hearn
Side Notes:
I had the best weekend of my life at the World Series this past weekend. Losing sucked but what a ride.
That building was shaking when Bo hit the 3 run homer. I have never felt anything like it.
Close second when Clement scored the 4th run.
My seats were field level Friday night and top section Saturday. I think I liked top section better. Better view of the entire field and bullpens.
Can’t hear a word the umps say when they are on mic for the challenge calls.
Hot dogs were gross, bring back the steamed Loonie dogs every night, I would pay the $5.99.
Unless you want a Guerrero or Berrios jersey you are fucked.
Jerseys there are not made for people of girth.
I am a people of girth.
Brad sat next to a stripper Saturday night and our hotel was chocked full of hookers. Bad night for those industries.
The UP train is convenient but wow was it packed. Ubered it on Saturday.
I left candy and chips with my house setter for 200 kids, had 50 come. I will remain a people of girth for the next 2 weeks.
Joe Carter is calling me this afternoon.
Had tickets for the season opener picked out if they won. Wanted to see the banner unveiled. Maybe next year Jays fans.
My Steelers beat Indy, I didn’t have that on my proline.
Washington Fans, McNeil and Hartnett cried last night when Daniels had his arm go the way arms should not.
Buffalo is great against KC in the regular season but until I see it in the playoffs I won’t believe they are better.
Time to watch more hockey. Montreal for 2 games next week. Skinner may be too drunk to stay awake.
Wife says I should spend no more than $1000 at the ballet, that seems fair but I make no promises.
I just took her to the World Series, she would let me do anything right now.
I have supported all your rotten kids for years with 50/50’s, maybe I will do one for myself to go to Chez Paree.
If Joe Carter calls me today I am getting the entire place for the night for Skinny and I. Anyone else in the HRHL is welcome.
This is the end of round 2 this week. 40% of the schedule is gone, time flies.
Standings:
14 – TimR 13 – Bongo, Chad, TimH 12 – Leon, Grayson, Sto, Webs, Murphy 11 – Ross, Skinny, Croke, PGuy, Taiwan, Grease 10 – MacQueen, Ted, Logan, Tony, Todd, GHegs 9 – Perry, Prodigy, Priest, Dukey, Kerr 4 - Glenn

| Weekly 3 stars ……
3. Macqueen, scores the shootout winner , stares down the crowd and adds an assist. This player was a thorn in the oilers side all game long. With Desi struggling this player elevated his game to preserve a rattrap victory. Also huge props for bringing the projector for the guys who wanted to watch the jays and high quality hockey at same time .
2. Fougere, scores 1 adds an assist in the flames 5th 3-1 victory. The right winger on the line is scoring at a career best clip and they are firing the flames engine . Special attention will be provided Friday night to this scoring machine by the stars checking line .
1. Havey, he came , saw, conquered , had his balls moved all in one night. 3 goals , 3 assists in the stars dismantling of the former co first place lions . This player was a man on a mission Friday night. The goal streak ended a few weeks back but a new one is well on its way to be started . again. He’s minus 11 on his stars management goal total , heading in the right direction. Well done !!

| A game of inches they say. One inch away from sending all of Canada into a celebration frenzy, instead heartbreak…
I am of course talking about States tipping the puck an inch over Glens gloves at the end of the Oilers games to take it to a SO. Oh how we all wish we had just one more inch.
Anyone catch the Jays game? I decided it would be a good idea to watch on mushrooms. Nothing like stressful situations while you’re tripping balls. I wouldn’t recommend it. Earlier in the day I threw a rock in the lake, unfortunately it started a ripple butterfly effect that put us off the correct timeline where Jays win the World Series and into a new multiverse where Oilers and Jays both lost.. so I apologize for that.
Three weeks into this shed and I’m almost done… anyone need a shed built, book now and I’ll have it ready by Christmas morning

| Jets/oilers…….. This one looks like a defensive battle here and who better to win that type of game than the jets. 3-1 , Croke, duke and turps all score and Findlay gives the oilers nightmares with 29 saves in the win.
Lions /rattraps……. After getting pounded like a dirty whore last week by the stars, the lions are angry and frustrated . They take it out on the traps with a 5-3 victory. You know burgess scores 2 , ritz, Messervey and Tianni light the lamp and Logan rebounds with 31 saves
Stars/Flames…… the leagues two big dogs collide here and the stars are the Alpha golden doodle as they win 4-2 over the flames. Red hot Havey with 2 , Poirier and Larry finally pops his stars cherry in the win. Dan continues his blistering play and he makes 42 saves in scorching the red guys .

| Week 10: Another annoyingly busy week at work so I am just getting my picks in.
Early Game: A bunch of unknowns makes this a tough pick. Croke and crew soar to a win, despite a slick Oilers effort. Jets win 3-1.
Sandwich Skate: RatPack are energized by Pudge's return from the Greater Liverpool Area (GLA) and tame a game Lions squad. Pack win 3-1.
West Coaster: The Flames outshine the Stars, barely. Flames win 3-1.
The Lunn’s Mill Beer Co. Stewtenni-Ale HRHL POWER RANKINGS going in to Week 10:
6. RatPack 5. Oilers 4. Lions 3. Jets 2. Lions 1. Flames

| Why can't I have anything nice?
Lions lose Friday. Think it's ok the Jays will win tonight. Nope. All good they got Saturday to win it all. Nope. Ah well it will all be fine Sunday when the Commanders win. Nope. Get their dicks kicked in aaaaaand Daniels gets hurt. Come on man.
We need more bike lanes. Especially ones like on Brunswick that take up more road than the car lanes.
Anybody going to see the Curling Olympic trials? I recommend the women's if you do go.
Man the Habs are fun to watch. Is Demidov going to win ROTY? Two in a row for the Habs? Next year Fowler will in as well to make it 3 in a row.
Brad Marchand is way too likeable now. Nice thing he did for his old buddy who lost his daughter.
I had high hopes for the prequel to IT. Welcome to Derry. Not a fan so far.
Hal-con started today at work. Holy shit. Quite a range of weird characters. And more hot girls in cosplay than you would think.
Nice the see the Biebs play out his contract with the Jays. Bo has to come back. I yelled and swore so loud when IKF didn't slide head first.
I wonder if I can beat Alejandro Kirk in a race around the bases.
Games
Jets beat Oilers - Teddy two pumps snipes Lions beat Rats - Donkey and Ritcey snipe Flames beat Stars - Grease makes 36 saves
