| Oilers (9-7-1) vs Jets (5-10-3) Jets lead season series 2-1
Please note, there are 4 games on the schedule this week. The Stars/Oilers makeup game is being played Saturday night 10pm at Centennial. Tickets are going fast, get em while you can.
Skinner scored the only Oilers goal this week, assisted by Mousek and Redden. Hell of a goal celebration. Huge weekend for the Oilers as they could move into a battle for first this weekend or they could stay in the playoff position hunt. The Jets trade has created a new first line and they came through this week. The pussy line, Perry, Ross, Ritcey, PRR, get it like a cat purring? Perry had 2 goals and an assist, Ross had 1 and 2 and Ritz had 3 assists. Great debut for this new line unfortunately no one else on the team got a point.
Oilers 4 – Jets 2
Flames (12-6) vs Stars (11-6) Flames lead season series 2-1
Speaking of top line having big nights, the Best Fucking Buds line lit it up. Fougere led the way with 2 goals and 3 assists, Baxter had 1 and 3 and Bray had 2 and 1. The difference for the Flames is the scoring didn’t stop there, Newcombe had 1 and 1, Big brother LeBlanc scored 1 and single helpers went to little brother LeBlanc, Coombs ad Manson. Grease leads the league in shut outs, this was not apparent as I completely missed adding the goalie stats for a game back in December. If he was a forward on this team missing a stat I would have had 3 calls, 13 texts and 2 half drunk requests to fix it by now. Goalies are a different breed. Haverstock had his best offensive output since Halloween with 2 goals and 2 assists. His Subaru team also won the Icejam tournament this week so big week at the Haverstock household. Gilbert closed the rookie scoring gap to 1 with a goal and 2 apples. Iceton and O’Hear tried to keep pace but they could only pull off 1 goal 1 assist and 2 assists respectively. McNeil, Ryan and Ryan Smith each scored once for the Oilers. Check notes: sorry not Ryan Smith but Chad Holt scored, the tip was reminiscent of a prime Smith back in 2008. Single assists went to Clark, Gallant, Murphy and Theuerkauf. Theuerkauf’s point puts him alone in second in the goalie scoring race, just 1 behind Grease.
Flames 4 – Stars 3
Lions (7-10-1) vs Ratpack (9-8-1) Rats lead season series 2-1
Billard and Burgess scored for the Lions assists to Taiani and Taylor. States and Pudge scored for the Ratpack, assists to Chappy, Flinn, MacQueen and McNeil. Both teams scored 2 goals, the difference was the Lions allowed 7 and the Rats allowed 1. The Lions are outscoring the Rats this season by 6 but the Rats have allowed 32 fewer goals. That math adds up to a Rats win.
Rats 6 – Lions 3
Oilers (9-7-1) vs Stars (11-6) Oilers lead season series 2-1
Saturday night special, who knows who will make or miss on a Saturday night, toss up game that could come down to attendance.

Side Notes:
The four point games are not happening, instead it has been decided to wait until all the regular season games are played and if any games that were missed are needed to decide a playoff spot they will be rescheduled at 11pm on Feb. 24,25 and 26th.
Yes playing at 11pm on a weekday sucks but not as much as trying to get 6 teams to agree on what to do.
Seriously considering selling the league to the iceman group, registration would go up by a couple hundred bucks per player but he will take it over.
Spent a lot of time at the Icejam this week, the hockey gets better every year. Kids are huge nowadays.
Nice warn spell, left the rink Saturday and it was 8 degrees. More of it coming Wednesday and Thursday.
Super Bowl is less than 4 weeks away, who makes it could come down to who is healthy. No really great teams out there.
Steelers are still in the race, not feeling good about saying that tomorrow.
Poirier is 8th in my hockey pool but first in ppg, injuries fuck seasons.

1 week into Wegovy, side effects, fatigue, tiny bit of a headache. Definite loss of appetite and feel full after eating for a long time. Lost 7 pounds but it isn’t supposed to work this quick.

Bo is heading to Philly, better he sign there than in the AL East but still holding out hope he comes back.

3. Robinson……. Played the leagues highest scoring offensive squad and held them to 1 goal in his33 save performance. This goalie is having a career resurgence with the rat pack, he’s enjoying himself again. The pack need this guy to stay hot in their quest for a playoff spot.
2. Fougere, 2 goals 3 assists in the flames win the jets last week. This player was scoring , passing , smiling and celebrating with his team as they seemed to score every shift. Definitely, a force in the league is the best friends line. Considering it has a first and two second line players on it I see why. The flames need this guy to keep scoring as they chase the division crown.
1. Havey , 2 goals and 3 assists in the stars ass smashing of the lions last week. Havey was all over the ice and scoring setting shit up at will. See what happens when a fella gets his long lost twigs back with the fuckin ridiculous toe curve ??
The leagues premier lamplighter came to play last week and the stars welcome him playing and ascending the scoring charts on their quest for the penthouse!!

- speaking of coaches are the flames rookie duo of Baxter and Manson the clear favourites for executive of the year???
- Mike Tomlin retires after 19 years of coach the Steelers. Crazy stat they’ve only had three coaches in like 50 years. Buffalo sabres have had 34

- Chad holt with arguably the greatest tip in goal of all time last week. Pat Gilbert made an ok shot but Chad handled the rest. Loved the celly where he pretended to tear open the shirt on one knee like the kids do

| Oilers/jets……both teams coming off a loss and the Ritcey injury is too much to overcome as the oilers roll to a 5-3 victory. Red hot skinner snipes two with bent, venoit , Leblanc getting the others
stars /flanes….. a potential playoff preview and the stars shine bright in the 4-2 victory. Havey with 2 , Gilbert and MacDonald score the others and Dan was on point in the victory .
Pack /lions…….. pack are on a heater and the lions aren’t but Desi is out soooooo. A must win for the lions so let’s take a lions upset 3-2 with big game hunter Tianni scoring the GWG late .
