Pretty Sure the Rams will attend the Team Camp in DePauw and would also count on them playing in the summer league again (not sure if it's in forest park this year) one of them happend around the beginning of july not sure about the other one I know the last year summers Chris Weikert played for the AAU's Southern Indiana Sharks but don't know about this year since he's goin into his Senior Season and have heard the Bush kid played AAU but not for sure about that.

Would just like to add that last summer the Paoli Lady Rams held a team camp/scrimmage with Mitchell/Eastern (Greene) and I believe South Knox over the summer last summer and looks like it could be that way again this year if Brown stays the Coach
Until next time

Just a few things taht get ame about Weikert and AAU first is he's pplaying 2 positions when next year he'll be playing center (although that could be what the coach says) secondly there is noone on that list that you mentioned who are good-great Big Men where's Greg Oden (probably recruited to one of the nations best) where's the Josh McRoberts, Luke Zeller and Wacey Hall's of the world? of course the above mentioned are seniors and 2 of them are McDonald's All-Ameroican's the point is to get better play with or against (the latter probably is true) competition at your spot the best Weikert is gonna give us next year is 4-4.5 rebounds a game isntead of the 7-10 he should be gettin what I think he should do and everyone else do is what I call the Anthony Winchester theory go in the summer get in the Weigh Room put on about 20 pounds of muscle with improving your skills hell it helped him out.
Until next time

| the last two years weikert has played against oden. the teams he plays for play against not only the best in indiana but the best in the nation. and as far as the 4-5 rebounds per game, you have to be on the floor to get rebounds. with the amount of playing time he got as a junior it's a wonder he got as many rebounds as he did. if you gave him the same playtime emerick got he would of had about 10 rebounds a game. it's not his fault sibbitt decided to go with a short lineup. i have seen him play against players as tall as 7'3" and he did real good. no one in paoli has seen him play like he can, becouse the coach wont let him.sibbitt has sat on what could of been 3(so far) great years for weikert.

I wanna say if this comes off the wrong way I don't mean for it to but how does he do against the guys like Oden..O.J. Mayo (of course he's like a guard/small forward)McRoberts and people like this obviously if he plays Oden he's giving up 607 inches does he out rebound him get more blocks then him?....have they won the state tourney's in the past I know the year Seacat and Wolfie won the state AAU they had stars like Anthony Winchester, Craig Schoen, a kid from Floyd Central and another guy from South Central...and another thing is Weikert gonna pull a double double all season? can he pull down 15 boards a season (I know a little far reached but) and has he developed any post skills?...just curious.

| Weikert is working on his all round game. in a scrimage game this past weekend in indianapolis he had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals, and 4 ast. several of his points came off drives to the basket. he has gained 10 lbs since the season ended last year.he is crashing the boards with several rebound dunks.the team he played for last season won several big time tourneys with many of the players going on to division 1 next season.

| Well that's nice to hear would have lied to have heard about if he posts up or have any post skills?.....does he have a Karl Malone medium range jumper?....Stuff that a good- great post player should have. is he putting on muscle to get position inside?....or is he going to try and be a LeBron James type. Noone take this the wrong way but if he was a great player or should I say supposedly "great" he would be in the McRoberts/Zeller/Oden league. Of course Zeller and Oden out size him but hell if he was great he coukd still post a double double on them. Would put him the Sean May type category but he has no post moves and plus he's not 6'9" 270lbs. Just one more thing and it's not that I'm hating on the kid i'm just saying that if the way people talk on here of how good he is. Now woth that said with the minutes he got last year no reason he should have pulled down 6-7 boards a game hey I remember a few years ago when the Rams had Springer, Wolfe and Fullen. averaging around 6 boards a game. but to become and all-around player he has to get some sort of post skills instead of that drive he does that could possibly be stolen away.
Until next time.

| first of all springer and wolfe played big time minutes for a great coach.and i doubt it if fullen averaged 6 rebounds a game, he didn't see the floor at the end of the season.i have not seen anyone say that weikert is a may, oneal or so on. i for one think it's great that he is working on his game, many of the players are not.instead of bashing him why not support him, he is a ram. and as far as his inside game, how could we know how good he is, he sat on the bench most of the season.just look what forest park did with the BIG lineup. joe blew it this last season, not the kids.so just sit back and jump on the ram bandwagon when they start winning again next season.

Was thinking about the comment about Forest Park and will agree about that and not only that I look at the Hopf boys for winning a state title you think they would be greg oden-like dominating well when they played Paoli they didn't look that impressive with that being said I would pick a Weikert over them just because he's more active on the boards and if the ball is given too him he can if he wants to do more than just over power people.
Until next time.
