| On a beautiful Saturday afternoon the two Templeton division 3 teams played their first game at Evers Field. In an exciting close game, the Base Raiders pulled out a 5 - 2 come from behind victory over the Home Run Hotties. It was a 0-0 pitching dual until the 4th inning when Whitney Lehnhoff and Cori Ford layed down great bunts and the were both able to score after stealing two bases each. In the bottom of the 4th Alyssa Volpi hit a double and then scored on a two run home run by Kiersten Humphries. The Base Raiders went on to score 3 more runs in the 5th inning which was finally stopped with a fantastic 3rd out catch, in deep ceneter field by Ashley M. Watch both these teams for some more exciting action as they will play each other 5 more times.
