| Just a thought, being as we play 2 or 3 times a week in June and usually finish half the season by month end. I don't think it would be a bad idea to consider doing doubleheaders for the month of June. This way you come to the field once a week (instead of twice) and get your games in. It also might be easier on the schedule maker and less likely to forfeit with only getting 2 teams per night at the field instead of 4. And guys would probably be less likely to miss games that way. Also would be easier re-scheduling games in case of a rainout (which has been a big problem the last few years and the reason the league's been running so late into the year), this way you just get the two teams involved in the wash out back to the field and they play 2 games. Instead of trying to accomodate 4 teams to make up games. I think it would be a good idea, might be too late to do it this year but maybe next year we could try it out.
