| For the fourth time this year the Base Raiders faced the Saphires and although the game wasn't as close as most of their games the sportsmanship and comradery was at an all time high. It's always great to play a game when two teams from two different towns can have this much fun. Lizardbreath Hansen was on fire at the bat as she went 2-3 with 2 RBIs. Grapefruit Volpi struck out 8 of 10 batters and went 3 for 3. Lion Dutra fielded a ball at thrid, threw to first for the out, and Bean-o Bendall threw it back to catch the runner comming from third for a double play. Kristin from the Saphires hit a great shot down the first base line to score Kendra who was on base from a walk. Ellen hit the hardest ball of the game that went into deep center field for a double.
Thank you girls on both teams cause it's fun to coach a wonderful bunch like you.
