| Hey Jim -
In the most recent issue of Sports Illustrated, they have a cool picture of Ryan Freel of the Reds getting sawed off, and it looks like he's using a Max Bat. The logo is blurred a bit I'm pretty sure it's one of yours. The picture is on pages 67-68. Just thought you'd like to know in case you haven't seen it yet.

| Hi Mike:
Yep, saw it. Freel sure did get sawed off on that one. I guess any publicity is good publicity.

| Honestly, I've never heard of Ryan Freel before I saw that picture. Is he a client or was he borrowing one of Sean Casey's bats??
I also noticed Mauer was swinging a Max Bat when he pinch hit for Redmond on Sunday, but he's been using a Rawlings most of the year (at least the games I've seen).

| He's a client. I hadn't heard of him either until Spring Training. Started using Casey's MaxBats last year and then ended up ordering his own this year.
Yes, Mauer has been using prodominantly Rawlings up until recently. Hunter and Morneau and using MaxBats again now too.
Typically, these pros use about three different brands of bats, and I'm just happy that mine is one of them. The only MLB player who I know uses a MaxBat 100% of the time is Brian Roberts of the Orioles. He uses a custom model called the BR1.

| Roberts very well could be the AL MVP through April and as you know, Morneau hit one about 800 feet the other night off Kelvim Escobar.
