| I ahve an HPI Rs4 3 EVO. and i see how all you guys with your serpents glide through th e truns and hit the gas at the right when you are coming out of the turn. Well may car doesnt even ge thalf-way throught that.
Every single time no matter what speed i am going my car takes the turn way to wide and i almost alawys hit the wall. I have tried every possible varibale and i think that its the car
I am using the stock steering servos and rubber tires. Could either of these be the culprit behind this problem???? Is there something else causign this problem??? Do i Need to do some suspension tuning??? If so, What is it that needs to be adjusted????
I am a newbie to this and I have been to the track twice and both times i encountered this problem. It keeps causing me to lose parts and spend money
I could really use your help and i dont plan pn coming back to RPR until i get it fixed so i dont keep breaking things

| For starters, try foam tires (37 shore), try also adding negative camber to the suspension (I used to have my old HPI with -2 in the front and -5 in the rear)... this should help a bit.

| when your at the track just ask and I will look at the problem. if you need help we can better fix it at the track. i think we should sit down and check your car out completely. dont know you need help unless you ask. the best place to do this is at the track. if your problem is for example tires i have them there to try out right away. it will take a-lot of typing to (GUESS) at your cars problem at the track it takes a-lot less time to know for sure what the solution might be.

| The tires will definitely help alot. Your body might also make a difference. Those RTR bodies look pretty nice, but don't handle well.

| Make sure you bring at least one set of front uprights, they are the week spot on the Evo (Hence also a couple extra dog bones).

Check out that link. That is the sway bar kit. It will help. Get it from there if the local stores can't get them.

| Also I got the foams (35 shore Nitro shoes). But i havent driven it yet. Ariel at Crown Hobbies told me that not having the fomas was my problem. I hope he is right.

| CJ the uprights are the "C" shaped plastic pieces that hold the axles and the bearings (Shown as 85037 in page 22 of your HPI manual).
The big problem with these is the screw in the bottom, it wont take but one brush on the side to pop it out, and then you loose the Screw, the flanges, the dogbone... and the cruelest thing, The tread wont work to re insert the screw... so you will need to replace the part... Sucks uh??
I will show you a trick to partially fix this if I can recognize you at the track.

| Juancho,
How's the new house coming along? Will you have time to start coming to the track again soon? I'm curious to see your new paint job? :) For those of you who haven't seen him, I swear it feels like every time i see him out there he's got a new paint job. It's funny. LIke NBA players and their shoes.

| Hey CJ, I know who you are now... I used to have a minimum of 3 complete upright sets and a 1 1/2 dozen of dogbones for the HPI. Good thing they are not expensive; You should try shop HPI to see if they are selling again the upgrades in alloy (Long back order last time I checked).
Eric, I'm all settled at the new house, just started to take on my cars a couple days back and I should be going to the track again (if the rain allows)... I think I'm going to stay with the Fukuda look alike paint job in the pic I sent you... Unavoidably I will keep using a new one every weekend... (Psicological Thing)... So Alex GET READY.
