Please try to understand what i am saying because i am a newbie and this may be hard to picture.

I have an HPI RS4 3 EVO and i wanted to get some more bottom-end power into it, and i heard a way to do this is too change the greaing.

AGAIN I REPEATE THIS MAY BE HARD TO UNDESTAND

My car is a two speed which means there are four gears

Two attached to the engine and two off of it.

Of the two on the engine the one cloest to the engine is 22T and the one farther is 18T

Now for the ones off the engine.

The one closest to the engine is 43T and the one farther is 47T.

What should i change the gears to get more bottom end power.

And how do i calculate "Gear ratio"??

OK...are you ready for this?
For more bottom end, you will change either the small pinion and make it smaller, or change the LARGE spur and make it bigger. Changing the spur will make a smaller difference than changing the pinion.

But that's not the only way to add bottom end. First of all there's engine tuning of course. I'm not sure if your engine has a low end adjustment. It might though. If it does, this could make a huge difference.

But second, and a little more tricky is clutch settings. If your clutch catches too early, it will seem as if the bottom end is bad. Your car has a centrifugal clutch. to make it engage later you need to find a harder spring, or you need to make the shoes lighter. You can make holes the shoes or cut them down a little bit with an X-Acto knife. First of all, don't do this alone, do this at the track with someone that's done it before. Second, if you wanna try this, go get a new set of shoes to have as spares in case you mess up.

So, start with tuning, then pinions and then clutch. That should be the easiest way for you to improve your bottom end.

I don't know which ones are available for your car. One tooth usually makes enough of a difference. I'm sure the engine and clutch tuning will help too.

email me at epgonzalez@gmail.com and I'll send you a gear ratio calculator. It's an excel spreadsheet. What you do is input the teeth of all your pulleys adn the Spur and pinion and it will tell you your gear ratio, over drive ratio and top speed according to your tire size.
