Yes but it doesn't have room for an internal battery. Without it, you're have to carry around an external 12V battery. you're better off getting this one:

Better yet, just go to a hobby shop like Warrick's or Atomic for something like this, that way you'll be sure to get the right thing.

On the one I posted, yes, that's why the word UNIVERSAL is in the name. I know you're tight for money, but there's this saying in spanish, "Lo barato sale caro," which if you don't speak Spanish means, the Cheap things wind up expensive, because you'll soon be replacing it. You don't have to go crazy and spend $120 on a starter box. But getting something inadequate to save $10 will not make your life easier.

Starter boxes usually don't come with batteries. So you need to consider than when making your purchase. You can get that box like the one I posted and add a small 12V battery for like $15 and you're set. You'll never have to worry about that box again. With the one you posted. You need an external battery, which means you have to lug around a car battery or something every time you wanna start your car. It's just a pain. Ask the guys out there what it's like to have a box that doesn't work well. It's a nightmare.

This is the type of battery you need for the duratrax box: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXL370&P=ML

It's $18 online, you can probably find it for less in a store.
