| First of all, next year he is going to carry Rooster to the Top. Secondly, in a college season, .368 is very respectable.
Why I feel that Minnetonka has a great team, I believe that if there was testing for banned substances (such as anabolic steroids) it would be another story

| Jordan Roering; first class ballplayer and person, rooster is getting a good one next year.d he also did damn good in Psychology over J-Term. How is .368 not a respectable average?
In other news: Tonka players apparently said in front of congress with their fingers pointing "I did not take any anabolic steroids in my amateur career" After being tested they went on to say " I have no idea how these steroids were injected into my body."
Also: The SS for 1B for C.E. have apparently been contacted by the another amateur team for the upcoming season. The signing bonus was reported to be a pack of skittles and an old team jersey.

I think we have 4 plus guys with double digit dingers and another 5 or 6 guys knocking on the door. Sucks to be good! Good luck to everyone this year in the tourney. | blah blah blah...who cares who this Roering kid is. Point is, it takes great defense, solid pitching, if not great, and imho just adequate hitting to win. Seen more games lost because of bad defense than any other point of the game in amateur ball. So whichever team takes the field with the best defense will take state, unless Tonka has juicing sessions before each game. GL to all. The chum is in the water

You are right about our field being a cracker jack park but if I remember correctly, we hit 4 or 5 homeruns last year at Parade, that's wierd...50 games a year is a lot but we have so many quality players that it's a combination of different players each game. I seem to remember that when we play at Big Willow there is usualy an opponent and I don't think they have more than 5 homeruns against us so...Not really sure what your point is..... the rest of state can't hit, other than PARK.....

| Minnetonka can flat out rake. That's all there is to it. We played them in the championship game a few years ago and somehow held them to only 5 runs. They beat us 16-4 a couple days before that. You younger guys probably don't want to hear this but the best hitters in Class A are older guys. By older, I mean at least 26-27 years old. You will notice that Tonka doesn't have many guys younger than that. Same with SLP and Rosetown. Chris Johnson and Matt Paulsen are both over 30 yet they can both still hit the $hit out of the ball. Rosetown may not have made the tournament but you won't find many hitter in this state better thna Pat Carey, Phil McDermott, or Luke Vogel (I think Vogel is younger then 26 but he's close). Say what you want about the younger teams in the State Tournament. Age definitely comes before beauty in Class A ball.

| Tommy,
For the record, you are a little girl. You should really take your well thought out, UST educational thoughts and take them to the local little league fields where you would fit in. Not just mentally but athletically. UST is a very good D3 baseball program especially considering the weather they play in. You would be more accepted if you came clean as to who you are and then people probably wouldn't attack you so bad.
