| A Division Managers,
By now, Groovy probably informed you that we are having a super quick meeting at 5:45 Monday at the fields.
In an effort to keep it quick, I thought I would post the topic so you can already have put some thought into it when we meet.
There has been discussion about how to handle the last three random games for our regular season. Those games are decided on where you fall in the standings.
As you can imagine, this will provide some teams with a harder schedule than others, and could really have an effect on the standings. For example, three teams will play games vs the number one seed, while the other three teams will not. Some managers have expressed how this will be unfair.
So we will have a brief discussion on this and take a vote on how to handle it. These are some options
A) Freeze the seedings/standings as they are after the 18 games, play the next three games as planned but not let the seeding change for the playoffs based on the results of those last three games.
B) Continue as planned, play the extra three games and seed everyone based on their record after 21 games.
C) Not play the remaining three games and go into the playoffs.
D) any other ideas managers have.
Again, this isnt really for discussion on the board, more to prepare you for our quick meeting Monday at 5:45 behind field 4.
