Thanks for organizing the league Mike and Shane.
Can I suggest that while the league is down until the player draft, that the organizers speak to the captains of each team, for input, and implement some rules regarding late additions of players to the league, what team those players if allowed to play will go to, etc. There could almost be a secondary draft held by a certain date with those players who want to enter the league after it has already started. After that date of the draft, players are not allowed in the league. This league goes through this issue every year and each year there is crap and the team rosters don't seem to come out evenly as far as players ability goes. This is not rocket science my friends. Also, agree on some form of penalty to those team that screw around and play illegal players. Have a penalty in place before the league starts make everyone aware of it and then there is no "da, I didn't know".
Just my thoughts.
