| i was told next year there will be a time limit on the games bad bad bad ideal. needs to stay the way it is

| The thing is that we need to do something. We can't keep umpires and scorekeepers out at the fields until 11:30 at night.
What I am thinking about proposing is a 2 hour and 30 minute limit per double header. Games should be able to be finished in an hour and 15 minutes at worst.
This way if one game is on time, then you'd have an hour and a half for the other. But 2 hours games shouldn't happen which we had a couple of this year.

| time limit = good good good idea. Also games should start at 6, people take advantage of the whole 15 minutes to get your players there and most games start at 630.

| I think the 6 15 start time is still a good time to start the games some of us dont have 8 to 5 jobs and 6 15 is cutting it close but the time limit is a good thing go play in some tournments where there is a 55 min time limit and see how you like that !!!!!!!

| All games should start no later than 6:15. If both teams are there and ready by 6:00 then the game could start early. A lot of teams take advantage of the grace period. The time limit idea is a good one.

| The umpires and the scorekeepers are getting paid to be at the ballpark to whatever time the games are finished. They are paid by the game, not by the hour. How often have games gone to 11:30pm? I would guess not that many. Most of our late games are over by 10:30pm. It is softball and softball is a hitters sport. Putting a time limit on the games is a bad idea. It is just fine the way things are. I really think that if we change too much about the league to quick then we are going to have a big mess. Things are fine just the way they are. We should not change the times or time limits on our games because once in awhile the games run a little late. What if a game has to be stopped in the 3rd inning because of rain and there is a 20 minute delay. Well I am rambled on long enough, but I dont think we should change the times or the time limits.
