| this is from a post i made awhile ago and i just wanted to remind you guys about it. enjoy.
don't forget im throwing a "Century of Losing Party" in october of 2008. any cub fan will be the guest of honor. we can here all about the goat, bartman, corkey (sosa), how dusty baker was the savior, now how pinella is the savior, harry carry drunken calls, ryne sandberg being the best second basman ever (please) ...the list goes on and on.

Maybe you can hold your century party at Mike Shannons in St. Louis. You and LaRussa can have a few drinks and then go for a drive while trying to hook up with some strippers. But watch out for tow trucks. And make sure if you get pulled over that you hide your bag of weed real good. Just a few ideas for your party.

| hey fine with me. everything would be free cause we could show them the world series trophy. you could show them the cubs trophy from 1908, but i think it is just a piece of paper with a smiley face on it. and it's kind of cold to make fun of someone who died in a car accident. you might want to think about what you post cause some people have had that happen in their families. i know you are joking around, but that's not something to joke about. that's pretty low even for a cub fan.

| The really sad thing is that our Cards may be done for a while. I think Dewitt wants to build from the farm system while Jocketty wanted to get talent now and spend.
By the time we get the talent to get close, Albert will probably be gone or past his prime. A shame.

| yeah because obviously if u get beat in the playoffs you choked...i guess the phillies suck along with possibly the yanks and angels getting swept tommorow....i was trying to find a cards game this week on tv, didnt have any luck?? the cubs got beat by the best team record wise in the NL because they didnt hit....choke!!!!....that would be the ny mets

| sorry to burst your bubble but if pujols retired todat he would still make the hall. check his stats for his first six years. they are better than most people in the hall of fame now. take your boy ryne sandberg. what the hell did he ever do? he certainly didnt lead anyone to a championship.

| ohney, look at the tema that have won the world series in the last few years. the marlins, white sox, d-backs, even the cardinals. they all had a few good bats and real good pitching and the rest were farrm hands who got hot. teams like the yanks and cubs go out and spend spend spend and don't even make it out of the first round. so if the cards are going to rebuild like that, i will feel better than going out and spending 300 million guys that wont even play the whole year. rsvp for my party next year!!
