The 12U Tomahawks Softball team traveled to Rochelle this weekend to battle it out in a USSSA qualifier tournament. The morning started off with a tough loss to the South GA Outsiderz in a 7-3 final. The Tomahawks rallied their spirits and put together a blowout victory over the Cordele Bullets 07 (12-1). Later, the Bullets 06 team would take back that victory for their sister team in an 8-4 loss for the Tomahawks. Battling back, the Tomahawk Girls find a way to win clinching the lead in the 4th inning for a 6-1 win over the Middle GA Mayhem. The final game of the day put the Tomahawks against the Bullets 06 team. The Bullets defense just proved to be too much late in the day for our Tomahawks. The Tomahawk ladies fought hard this weekend and brought home the Silver. Great job ladies. Your Tomahawk family is proud!!

 The 14U Tomahawks softball team traveled to Nashville this weekend to take on the Pines and Southern Grace. The morning started off with a tough loss to the Pines. The ladies would battle back in the second game against the ladies of Southern Grace and prove their worth and their second place seed in this tournament with a 12-6 victory. The tournament games would pit the #2 Tomahawks against the #3 Southern Grace. The Tomahawks ran away with this game with a HUGE 12-1 victory over Southern Grace. In the final game, the Pines would prove to be too tough for the Tomahawks, taking an early lead and never allowing the Tomahawks to get back in. In the end, the Tomahawk girls took home Silver as runner-up in this SGA tournament. Great Job Ladies!! Your Tomahawk family is VERY proud!!

Thanks for the GREAT turnout on Saturday for the Tomahawks Boys Baseball tryouts. We had 30 boys show up to show us what they had. It was a great day and a great tryout. We will be letting everyone know who made each team this week. Thanks to parents, coaches, and players for your hard work on Saturday. This is going to be a great season for travel baseball.
