Angels Hold On for 4-3 win
Behind single runs in the 1, 3, 4 and 7 innings, the Angels led 4-0 thru 7 as Luis Gonzalez extended his scoreless streak to 16 innings. He tired in the eighth and gave up one run. George Rodarte got the final out in the eighth with 2 men on and survived a roller coaster ninth that saw the Monarchs score 2 one a walk, a hit and an error and get the tieing run on first with 2 outs when George got a pop fly in the infield to end it
Big day on offense for Will Salazar (4-4, rbi and Barrena (3-4, rbi). Additional hits by Coombs,Vogel, Hayashi and Rodarte (3b,rbi). Fallat throws 7 strong innings for the Monarchs with 8 K's.
