Zach Galasso's 4 Hit, 5 RBI Night Leads Clancy's Pub To Win
Clancy's Pub finally used some late inning magic to their own advantage this time around. After securing a 3-0 lead in the top of the first the Tarheels quickly surendered the lead giving up 5 runs in the bottom of the first. Teams would trade runs until the top of the six with Clancy's down 6-5, a costly leadoff error and a bout with wildness led to Clancy's getting a game tying groundout from Zach Galasso. But the bottom of the sixth produced what seems to be an every game occurance for the Tarheels, a 2 run rally by the Mets. With their playoff hopes seemingly in ruins the Tarheels used a furious comeback getting 6 runs in the top of the seventh behind 2 walks, 2 HBP and 3 hits. A much needed victory pushed Clancy's back into playoff contention.
