Arakawa and Cahill combine for shutout victory.
Kaz Arakawa (6 innings) and Mike Cahill (3 innings) only allowed 2 hits to a tough Reds team to complete a shutout victory for the Sidewinders. The Sidewinders made all the plays behind their mound-mates; of note, Colman Costello made a nice running play in LF, Chris Healey started a crisp 5-4-3 DP, and the team turned 3 DP's. With the bats, Jamil Mamdani drove in 5 runs, Costello had 3 hits, Dave Becker had a perfect 2-2 day with 3 walks, and newcomer Healey went deep with a 2-run shot to LF.
