Brewers Over Diablos in Seesaw Battle, 12-11
The Brewers and Diablos went back and forth over the entire seven inning game, which ended with the tieing Diablo run left standing on third base. Going into the final frame, the Brewers had a 12-9 lead, but the Diablos sent six batters to the plate with three singling, one walking, one tripling and the sixth batter striking out. However, the two other outs came on perfect throws from short left field, as Brewers' shortstop, Efrain Medrano took relays and threw strikes to catcher, Andrew Pelter to nail two runners on close plays at home plate.
The Brewers were led by Matt Trites' three hits and Joe Pita's and Greg Whittaker's three RBIs. This was an exciting battle down to the final out.
