Both teams were missing some key players, but a very tight and evenly matched game ensued.
Bob Diaz was sharp on the hill for the Colts, while Scott Bailey kept his team in the game, working quickly and yielding only two earned runs, before leaving after hitting his third 45.
Glenn "two hit" Rubin knocked in a go ahead run in the eighth only to see the Brewers rally for a couple of their own in the bottom half. The top of the ninth was started with Mike Schoenmann doubling for the second time, followed by a bunt single and a walk to load 'em up. John Scott singled in the tying run and Greg Lemaster hit a sac fly to put the Colts up by a run.
Mike Schoenmann closed out the bottom of the ninth, 1-2-3.
