Guapos Shut Out Streak Continues!
Los Guapos de los Estados Unidos kept the ball rolling Saturday at the Zoo, shutting out the Corvids, 11-0. Pitching, once again, was the story of the game, with Mike Delgado throwing five 1-hit innings, while piling up 7 K's in the process. Scott Drake then came in for the final 9 outs, giving up only 3 hits, and striking out three Corvids, while also driving in 3 runs. Eric Anderson goes 4-4, and Justin Keeney knocks in 3, as Los Guapos continued their torrid offensive explosion, compiling a whopping 18 hits. The Corvids, to their credit, played well with only 9, but playing men out of position led to some defensive miscues and extra outs.
