Brewers Weather The Storm, 10-6
A close game for five innings, the Brewers broke through with four runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh, then withstood the Storm's three-run ninth. The pitchers, Greg Bertrand and Scott Singleton, kept a tough Storm lineup from doing enough damage to surmount the Brewers' lead, which was 10-3 after seven innings. The Brew Crew offense was led by Matt Trites (4-5, 2 RBIs), Mark Grizzle (3-3, 1 RBI) and two hits apiece from Eric Cain, Jesse Tejeda, and Sam Kason.
