Bandits Win Pitcher's Duel
The Bandits Jeff Gould went head to head with the Gray's Chris Powell with both going the distance and Gould coming out on top. Gould had a no no through 5 2/3 innings before the Grays got their first hit. Gould gave up one more on the day and completed a 2 hitter with no earned runs. Powell was equally impressive allowing 8 hits over 8 innings and shuting down several Bandit rallies. John Scott had three hits on the day for the Bandits with 2 RBIs and Bob Sherwin had a pinch hit single in the 6th which put the Bandits on top. Outstanding defense all around with Mike Guise, Dennis Clancy, Mark Gorman and Scott having solid glove days. A great game for both teams and baseball as we love to see it.
