Stallions and Bandits battle to an 11 inning tie

Good pitching by both the Stallions and Bandits made for a long game ending in a tie. Both teams had ample opportunity to win the game only to see their advantage squandered away. Time eventually ran out after the 11th inning with neither team being able to claim a win. The bandits split pitching duties with Jeff Gould, Jeff Wells and Jerry Whitaker. Gould was in control until the 4th when he surrendered all of the 4 runs the Stallions would get on the day. Jeff Wells threw a tight 4 1/4 innings and only allowed 3 hits. Whitaker came in to close out the 11th and prevent any mischief by the Stallions. Whitaker had a single and double on the day while Jeff Gould had 3 singles had off of a tough Refugio Esparza who went all 11 for the Stallions.
