Stallions outlast Red Sox in battle of the hill
Jr. Esparza and Robin Zibelli pitched masterful games for both sides. Zibelli held the horses to 4 hits and 2 runs through 6 innings. But, with 1 out in the 7th, back-to-back booming singles by Esparza and Aceves put Robin on the ropes. McCann's fielder's choice drove in one run, Jose Coralles cracked a two-run double and Jess Hanner drove in the 4th run of the inning. The day belonged to Jr. Esparza, who twirled a 2 hit complete game shutout for the Stallions, walking 2 and striking out 6, raising his league leading strikeout total to 51.
