Snappers Win On Pat McCarthy Pitching Performance
Pat McCarthy picked up his first win of the season going 5 innings and allowing only one hit. McCarthy took a perfect game into the 4th inning, and South Hills bats did the rest. After a run in the first inning, Pat Trettel lead off the second with a single. Tom McCarthy then was hit by a pitch and Jon Oniel and John Zilles both doubled to give the Snappers a 5 run lead. In the 4th inning the Snappers scored off of two walks and a Mike Trusky single to plate both runs. In the top of the seventh, McKeesport got on the board with a double by Nick Grice and a triple by Dylan Ernst.
