Walks, Errors Overshadow Dramatic Comeback
Down 12-5 in their last at-bat, the Redlegs rallied for 9 runs, including a grand-slam by Trace Cooper to give the Redlegs a 14-12 lead with three outs to go. However, the Campbell County Crush produced a rally of their own by scoring three times in the bottom of the inning to come out on top 15-14 in the final game of the Champions Sports Academy Memorial Day weekend tournament. The Crush only managed six hits, but 12 walks and 4 errors led to the Redlegs downfall.
