Jaylen Harris picks up 1st Varsity Win on the hill!
A month ago on April 17th, the Titans got beat 14 to 0 on their home field and stood 0 & 5 on the season. Fast forward 31 days and Taylor turned the tables and beat Oak Hill 6 to 1 behind freshman Jaylen Harris. The Titans have also won 13 of their last 20 games and have a Winning Pct. of .650 during that stretch! After 25 games, the Titans are now on the happy side of .500!
Harris threw 5 great innings only giving up 1 run (it was earned) on 6 hits. He struck out 2 and walked 2. Caden Sullivan pitched the final 2 innings and gave another solid effort in relief. He pitchec 2 innings giving up 0 runs. He gave up 2 its, walked 1, and struck out 1.
The Titans had 8 hits. Mason Cheek had a 2 RBI Single in the 1st. Clay Brubaker had a RBI Double in the 3rd. Owen Farrington had a RBI Single in the 5th. Wynn Takacs and Peyton Tracy were 2 for 3 on the night. Peyton Kellerman added a Single to account for the 8 Titan hits.
