Cards Battle Without Starting Pitcher
The LA Cards had to go without starting pitcher Rich Brito who went down with a back injury before throwing his first pitch. The Cards hung in but came up short as the Bandits racked up 13 runs to get the win. Kevin Bronson and Scott Brown led the Banditos with three hits apiece and both reached base 5x. Garrett Ray, Jade Devitt, Lee Frankel and Dennis Clancy each contributed two hits each to pace the Bandits as well. Bill Brown threw 3 innings without surrendering an earned run and Jerry Whitaker got the win going 4 with out an earned run as well.
