Bandits Come From Behind
For 6 innings, the Bandits could do nothing against the Beachboys other than watch the score pile up to 6-0 lead. But a combination of clutch hits, errors, walks/hit batters in the 7th allowed the Banditos to score 8 runs and take the lead for good. Dave Noll pitched a strong 4 2/3 innings only allowing one earned run while Jeff Wells got the win going 3 1/3 without surrendering an earned run and putting down the heart of the Beachboys' lineup in the 8th. Bill Brown picks up the save with a scoreless 9th.
