The Glory Days Blue Jays (4-0) defeated the Glory Days Rockies 4 to 1 at Doc Cramer Field.
The BJs, sponsored by South Jersey Heat and Cool, had solid pitching tonight. Brian Cottrell got the Win with 5 scoreless innings of 1 hit baseball. He struck out 7. Tyler "Baseball" Hobbs pitched two solid innings for the save. The offense was led by Kyle Skoog. Kyle went 2 for 4 with a 2B and 2RBI. Hobbs went 1 for 4 with a 2RBI 2B. Mike Caputo (2 hits), Cottrell (1 hit, 1HBP), "Hot Sauce" Brandon McTigue (1 hit, 1BB), Hiram Ortiz (1 hit, 1HBP), and Shane Brand (1hit) added to the offense for the BJs.
